Hi guys,

could Scientific Linux 6 please get added to OBS?

Reasoning is that RHEL6 is basically useless since it is missing loads
of - devel packages and CentOS isn't that healthy anymore (sadly)
apparently.

We have only limited space, let's not have CentOS and RHEL and Scientific
Linux on the system. So, which two of the three do we want to have?

I think everyone would be happy to have just a "working" RHEL6 repository. With working I mean, it needs the *-devel packages, as for obvious reasons they are required on a build server.

CentOS and SL both claim to be 100% binary compatible with RHEL!

Is there no SDK for RHEL6 with the missing devel packages?

To quote from the "RHEL6 - missing gtkmm24-devel" thread:

So it needs someone to talk to RH about the devel packages ...
