* Status Round
* Upcoming releases 1.6 and 1.7
* User data management together with iChain

Status round:
- tracked down + fixed 4 other qemu issues, that caused new OBS worker build
scripts to fail
- tested new qemu-svn throughoutly
- fixed some build issues in svn
- fixed dpkg-scanpackage issue in publisher
- fixed the ruby packages in openSUSE:Tools:Devel/Unstable
- packaged/tested: svn trunk -r 7191: ob-all-svn, build-svn, osc-svn =>
downloadable @ openSUSE:Tools:Devel
- deployed on build.o.o now are: qemu-svn, new OBS worker code
- now are working: Debian 5.0, Fedora 10, Ubuntu 9.04 @ ARM

- more work on arm cross toolchain as drop in replacements for the native
- with fixed qemu => openSUSE:Factory Base:build is now building @ ARM first

* Working on project page for 2.0:
- Implemented existing functionality via widgets
- Optionally drop down menu for deeper functions
- In place editing of text content via nice AJAX elements.

* Tried to debug disappearing project/packages for unknown reason, when
connection errors appear in unknown situations.
Not reproducable, but extended logging in case this happens again.
* Working on 2.0 webclient, implemented authentification mechanism and in
place editor.

* osc repairlink tries to use baserev as default and fallback to repairlink.
* osc sr list is doing server side filtering now, fixing timeouts.

* worked on mirror and download infrastructure

* scheduler changes for event processing
- much less high and medium prio events now
- bottleneck on releasing packages became the publisher(createrepo) now
- open tasks in this regard:
- getprojpack optimization to avoid multiple project sorting
- show repo state as dirty/building/published
* osc releases with features and bugfixes from Hüwe, mls, Michal
current trunk has been applied via patch on 0.117 package to fix
live buildlog and submitrequest list

* Question: what about a dead job detection ? We need this for died build
- dispatcher should check if workers are still alive
- detect lost events after scheduler crash, simple solution is to remove
all jobs in events dir.

* reorganizing wiki pages about build service atm.

Upcoming 1.6/1.7 releases
1.6 RC 1 will get create as soon as Martin Mohring gives his okay, adrian will
check with him.

1.7 milestone gets added to roadmap, because 2.0 has too many planned features
and some features to for improving Factory source handling. Discussion if we

We estimated 3 month to get new web client 2.0 running with the feature set of
old web client. In that case it would be part of 1.7 release.

User data management together with iChain
User data is only changing on login with iChain setups. This is no
problem for the build service instance, but it is a problem for the hermes
instance, because login happens rarely.
Suggestion is to let iChain server push to a central opensuse server,
like users.o.o which distributes this data to other server instances below (bug #498004)
