http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1174097 Bug ID: 1174097 Summary: Each new thumb drive mount increments a mount point index Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 15.0 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE 42.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE Applications Assignee: opensuse-kde-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: bkorb@gnu.org QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/80.0.3987.87 Safari/537.36 Build Identifier: Some very recent update started this problem. e.g.: $ sudo rmdir /run/media/bkorb/NIKON* <<time passes while Dolphin mounts one XQD card>> $ ls -l /run/media/bkorb drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 40 Jul 13 09:29 NIKON-Z7-A drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 40 Jul 13 09:29 NIKON-Z7-A1 drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 40 Jul 13 09:29 NIKON-Z7-A2 drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 40 Jul 13 09:29 NIKON-Z7-A3 drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 40 Jul 13 09:30 NIKON-Z7-A4 drwxrwxrwx 1 bkorb dev 131072 Dec 31 1969 NIKON-Z7-A5 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Insert an XQD card (dunno about other types) 2. use Dolphin to mount it 3. unmount the card 4. the /run/media/ME directory will not have the mount in it anymore 5. R&R the XQD card 6. use Dolphin to mount it 7. ls /run/media/ME will show two directories with the "-1" suffix on the actual mount. The above example is the sixth mount of the "NIKON-Z7" card. Actual Results: See "details" Expected Results: Just the NIKON-Z7-A directory Some update that I recently installed either to the Dolphin product or some underlying kernel functionality messed this up. Yes, I will be going to the latest "Leap" RSN, but I have some uninterruptible work going on for the next week. So what relevant Leap 15.0 updates were pushed out over the last week? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
