--- Comment #16 from Peter Thoms
---
Hello to everybody,
I found a workaround: please leave legacy and change to uefi!
1) back up your data
2) erase HD format
3) switch Eprom to UEFI (F2)
4) erase all eprom start entrys with the eprom Browser (F8)
5) set up Win7 (limit formation to 160 GB)
6) set up linux and choose Format ext4
---> edit the Install entry of linux by pressing "e"
So please edit the linux to nomodeset
...
echo `Loading Kernel`
linuxefi /boot/x86/loader/linux nomodeset
...
otherwise the installation will run into black screen after
[...]
[timestamp] ...
[timestamp] opensuse installation program
[timestamp] starting udev ...
< black screen >
lot of work and good luck!
Peter
