--- Comment #21 from Wolfgang Bauer
(In reply to Wolfgang Bauer from comment #17)
Sorry, but I couldn't really make any sense of this...
I suggest to take another look at the documented function calls from the debug backtrace.
That doesn't help in this case... The problem in short was that you said it works, and later on you say it didn't.
Ok, it seems to be clear *now*,
The program tried to display a dialogue for missing files, didn't it?
I don't understand what you mean. (In reply to Markus Elfring from comment #20)
I guess that you would expect an empty torrent list for a fresh user account. I find the reproduction of the error situation unlikely when a kind of file open dialogue should be involved somehow.
No, the point is to try and see whether it is something special to your user's files or not. And it has nothing to do with some "kind of file open dialogue". That would rather be a test on a different desktop, like IceWm. Ah, I suppose I get it now: You think that the dialog that would ask for missing files causes the crash. Well, why are you phrasing it as strange questions then, and not just write it like that? Might be possible indeed, the backtrace actually does seem to point to that. Ok then, that's definitely something to try from my side. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
