"p7zip script" is a Debian gzip-like CLI wrapper for p7zip. If you have this
wrapper installed you can for example do:
tar --use-compress-program=p7zip -cf file.tar.7z dir/
However, it seems that this script is used by Debian only. It lives in the
Debian p7zip package (there is no upstream github and the like) and even though
that p7zip upstream tarball ships the copy of it, the copy is very old.
Because of that, I think that it would be better not to base 7z support in star
on this script but on 7zr binary per se, if possible.
@Jörg Schiling: What do you think? Is there any way how to avoid using this
"p7zip script" in star? Thanks for considering it.
