I am also struggling with this bug. It happened several times in the past and I also face it at this very moment. […] My system is Tumbleweed with latest updates.
So in general for me btrfs works. I do not suggest to ditch btrfs or btrfs quotas as these provide some of the features which make openSUSE so awesome :) Namely that is system snapshots. As you are running Tumbleweed and when it is an older installation you might have a suboptimal btrfs subvolumes structure causing folders with temporary to be included in snapshots. Otherwise when you would let the btrfs balance settle then a subsequent call should also need less work and time. Maybe the Tumbleweed upgrade itself causes this problem for you so it might help to trigger a btrfs balance explicitly after the Tumbleweed upgrade. But all this would go into "support" rather more info in this bug so please on questions about all the workarounds rather consult mailing lists (opensuse@opensuse.org), IRC, forums, etc. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
