Any reasons why you want to use startx, when there is already a
displaymanager running? It's not recommended to use startx let alone
supported. We have several displaymanagers you can chose from independant of
the graphical sessions you want to run (xdm, gdm, sddm, lightdm, ...).

Startx can initialize at one set of arbitrary Xorg specifications by one "user"
on :0, initialize by another "user" at another arbitrary set of Xorg
specifications on :1, initialize by yet another "user" at yet another set of
arbitrary specifications on :2, etc. openSUSE and Xorg are provided as
multi-user systems.
