--- Comment #36 from Ludwig Nussel <lnussel@xxxxxxxx> ---
It's mostly a matter of deciding what is correct I guess. On the test system
with nvidia card I have now the bootloader is fine as it uses a low resolution
and the monitor then scales it up.

YaST needs QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=1 passed on the kernel command line to
show with correct size. So implementing what Fabian suggested in comment#5
makes sense. I suggest doing that right after 15.0 is released to actually test
this. For now we will document QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=1 in the release
notes.

Overall hidpy support seems to be lacking good integration all over the place
from what I can tell from my test system. Neither GNOME nor KDE get scaling etc
right by default. Not even to mention integration of both. A lot left to do. If
we ever want this to be seamless it needs to be a workshop involving developers
from all affected parties.
