Good to hear. So it's likely either the media driver issue (rmi4 touchpad) or
the swiotlb allocation issue. Both fixes are already in stable branch, so the
next update kernel should contain them.
There are other two fixes in my branch, but they are only for improving the
memory allocation possibilities, and shouldn't influence on the behavior
dramatically like yours. These fixes aren't included in stable branch because
they are new (written today :), and not yet accepted by upstream.
I close this as FIXED for now. If the problem persists with 4.16.2 kernel
update, please reopen. Thanks.
