I have an HP 6715b which was fine with openSUSE 13.2, but ran at min proc speed
with Leap 42.2, and the same when I tried Leap 42.3.
I am currently working around this by adding noapic to the boot.
This seems to lose the Wifi B43 firmware location, but the Wifi still works. If
I used acpi=noirq, I would get the processor speed up but no WiFi.
(Turion 64 x2 TL-62 proc, & powernow-k8)
Seems related to Ubuntu Bug #1598312 and is probably a kernel issue.
Shutdown may not be working normally, powering on after shutdown can require
intervention.
