--- Comment #14 from Wolfgang Bauer
The problem has not been resolved completely. When I delete a panel, I can see the desktop yet my hard drive light stays on as if the "ksmserver" is searching for files over several minutes.
That definitely doesn't happen here. What makes you think that it's "ksmserver searching for files"? What kind of panel exactly are you deleting, do you get the "panel removed" notification first? Does it happen with an empty panel too? (In reply to Roman Bysh from comment #13)

Check for ksmserver searching.
I don't see anything about "ksmserver searching" in there. Just a lot of messages from something called "MEGASYNCOVERLAYPLUGIN", and errors from aurorae. No idea whether they might be related to your problem though. I don't know what that MEGASYNCOVERLAYPLUGIN is, but try to switch the window decoration to breeze. Does it still happen then? Also, ~/.xsession-errors-:0 is deleted/created empty on login. Is that really from when the problem happened? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
