I for got the obvious in yesterday's report: I have a RAID1 (Intel imsm) that
provides the partition for the PV that is encrypted (thus mdmon):

md126 : active raid1 sda[1] sdb[0]
976748544 blocks super external:/md127/0 [2/2] [UU]

md127 : inactive sdb[1](S) sda[0](S)
6306 blocks super external:imsm

The kernel before update was 4.4.70-18.9-default, and that did not have this
problem:

reboot system boot 4.4.70-18.9-defa Mon Jul 17 19:34 - 19:55 (00:21)
reboot system boot 4.4.74-18.20-def Mon Jul 17 19:57 - 21:10 (01:13)

In case it matters: I actually have a second RAID1 with two different disks,
but that disk wasn't mounted at all (it is NTFS for Windows).
