The problem still persists after today's updates :-(
I have all these files on my system:
rpm -qf /usr/lib/systemd/system/vboxdrv.service
rpm -qf /sbin/vboxconfig
rpm -qf /etc/init.d/vboxdrv
And all fo them belong to the package virtualbox-5.1.22-2.16.x86_64
I have to run /sbin/vboxconfig manually after each reboot, but it doesn't
always help: After updating virtualbox I also have to chmod /sbin/vboxconfig,
because its default permissions are 644.
In addition to this, vboxdrv service cannot be enabled:
systemctl enable vboxdrv.service
Synchronizing state of vboxdrv.service with SysV service script with
/usr/lib/systemd/systemd-sysv-install.
Executing: /usr/lib/systemd/systemd-sysv-install enable vboxdrv
Failed to enable unit: Invalid argument
I don't know why. The SysV init scripts and systemd init scripts are probably
incompatible with each other?
