PS I'm currently downloading Leap42.3 (will take another 3h+, working remotely
from home), but in the mean time I did

rpm2cpio .../sudo-1.8.20p2-2.1.x86_64.rpm | cpio -ivd ./etc/pam.d/sudo
produced this etc/pam.d/sudo:
#%PAM-1.0
auth include common-auth
account include common-account
password include common-password
session include common-session
# session optional pam_xauth.so

There is nothing in the changelog of sudo that indicates that there ever was an
"include" in the last line.

Who removed the hash sign? Maybe that person also changed the "optional" into
"include", just because the other lines had it and it looked strange?

Anyway, I'll close this bug. Please reopen if you have any further problems.
