Bug ID: 1045375
Summary: Unable to connect to wifi because password can not be
accepted within LXDE, LXQt, XFCE, …
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE Distribution
Version: Leap 42.3
Hardware: Other
OS: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Major
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Other

## observation

Trying to connect to SUSE network AttachmateGroup I enter my username but the
password is not accepted. The "connect" option is greyed out despite of a
password being entered. It works in gnome but not in LXDE, LXQt, XFCE. The only
message I see is

```
nm-applet-Message: No keyring secrets found for …, asking user.
```

so it correctly asks for the password but seems an authentication daemon or
something is missing?

## steps to reproduce

* on an openSUSE Leap 42.3 within XFCE (or other mentioned non-gnome session)
try to connect to wifi network using e.g. nm-applet
* enter any password
* observe the connect button does not activate

## expected result

* connect button should activate itself after one (?) character is typed
