For some reason this looks considerably better to me:
# time fstrim -a -v | tee fstrim.log
/home: 49.3 GiB (52971085824 bytes) trimmed
/boot: 264.1 MiB (276962304 bytes) trimmed
real 0m0.143s
user 0m0.001s
sys 0m0.016s
/boot is an ext4 partition belonging to /dev/sda ( INTEL SSDSC2BB60 )
/home is a logical volume composed out of the above Intel SSD and a SAMSUNG
MZ7LN512 SSD.
I am not sure if anything else is left to be done here, feel free to close.
