We have openQA tests, at least for SLE, that test installation on an existing
cryptlvm layout either with enabling the existing encrypted partition or
ignoring it. Both cases are fine so far. I think the problem in this specific
case might be that selecting cryptlvm in the installer will make the installer
look for an existing cryptlvm. It finds an LVM setup and maybe wrongly assumes
the LVM to be a cryptlvm.
