## observation

during bootup of a machine console messages (white console font on black
background) I see the following error message on my Dell Latitude E7250

```
[ 1.413767] tpm_tis 00:09: A TPM error (6) occurred attempting to read a pcr
value
[ 2.714711] mmc0: Unknown controller version (3). You may experience
problems.
```

## problem

The MMC error might need a backport to deal with this.

Related to bug #1026079. The TPM error message is tracked in bug #1042535
