## Overview

The fingerprint reader of my ThinkPad L430 laptop is not detected by the
fingerprint tools in the distribution (`fprintd` and `libfprint0`).

## Steps to reproduce

1. Install `libfprint-examples` and `fprintd-ram`
2. Run `fprint_enroll` from `libfprint-examples` or `fprintd-enroll` from

## Actual result

Neither tool detects the fingerprint reader.

## Expected result

The fingerprint reader is detected.

## Build date and hardware

Build 0246 on Lenovo ThinkPad L430, installed from USB/DVD 64bit iso. Updated
to Build 0249.

## Additional information

Gnome Settings does not show its fingerprint options.

Yast's hardware information lists the reader as a USB device (file attached).

This is a continuation of Bug 1040206 which turned out to be not a Yast bug.
