Bug ID: 1040149
Summary: libopenmpt as drop-in replacement for libmodplug
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed
Version: Current
Hardware: Other
OS: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Other
Assignee: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Reporter: dimstar@xxxxxxxxxxxx
QA Contact: qa-bugs@xxxxxxx

libopenmpt was advertised as a drop as a drop-in replacement from libmodplug.

Sadly, we currently see a few packages failing to build (e.g. SDL_mixer,
xmms2).

Those package fail to find 'modplug.h', which with libopenmpt is moved to

/usr/include/libmodplug/

And the .pc file gives no indication that this path would be required for the
compiler

It would be great if we could extend the .pc file to give the appropriate
information to the consumers
