We suspect that this might be a byproduct of that faulty Chelsio T520-BT
driver; if you need to do weird things like reduce RAM size to 1 GB to make
this work, there are very likely a host of other problems as well.

There might even be a kernel oops; did you check console 4 for kernel messages?

Did you physically remove that Chelsio T520-BT? It comes as a PCI card, so it
can be removed; or is it an on-board controller in your case?

And to clarify: If you physically removed it, was there still a segfault
without it when using the "Abort" button in YaST?
