Gerard, please post the output of "rpm -qi dracut". And are you on 42.2 or
42.3? This question still has not been answered. Do you remember when you last
updated so we can determine what the previous version was? Looking through the
recent changes, I see no obvious reason for the behavioral change.

That said, I agree with Takashi that the b43 driver should describe its FW
dependency, as requiring the wireless driver in initrd can be legit in some
cases.
