Bug ID: 1037250
Summary: installing new kernel removes newest rather then
oldest versions
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed
Version: Current
Hardware: Other
OS: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Kernel
Assignee: kernel-maintainers@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Reporter: suse-list3@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
QA Contact: qa-bugs@xxxxxxx

When installing new kernel "obsoletes" removes the running kernel rather then
an older version. I have the following set in /etc/zypp/zypp.conf:

multiversion = provides:multiversion(kernel)

multiversion.kernels = latest,latest-1,running

Even with this set the "oldest" kernel is kept but not the ones I have
specified.
