Screenshot of Gnome Control Centre System Details with wrong disk size reported

In Gnome Control Center (3.24.1) settings :

Choosing Gnome --> All settings --> System --> Details

reports the wrong disk size. See attachment.

My lone local ~500GB disk is reported as 2.9TB. I have no nfs mounts, and just
this one local disk.

The system is a Lenovo ThinkPad T530. The installed disk is reported by hwinfo
