Bug ID: 1022429
Summary: XPS 13 9333 Spontaneously wake up after suspension
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE Distribution
Version: Leap 42.2
Hardware: x86-64
OS: openSUSE 42.2
Status: NEW
Severity: Major
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Kernel
Assignee: kernel-maintainers@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

My DELL XPS 13 9333 (Hashwell) spontaneusly wakes up from suspend on Leap 42.1
and 42.2, due to and iRST bug.
This could be very serious also because this happens also when the laptop is in
my backpack and I cannot check it.

This issue was fixed in upstream 4.9 kernel by this patch :
https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/9340763/ and is confirmed working since I've
tried by installing kernel-default package from Tumbleweed.

Could this patch can be backported to 4.4LTS kernel of Leap 42.2 ?

Thanks
