Bug ID: 1022047
Summary: Downgrade warning about duplicate device names in
systemd
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE Distribution
Version: Leap 42.2
Hardware: x86-64
OS: openSUSE 42.2
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Basesystem
Assignee: bnc-team-screening@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Reporter: andreas.schuette@xxxxxxxxxx
QA Contact: qa-bugs@xxxxxxx
Found By: ---
Blocker: ---

Systemd has changed the warning about duplicate device names from error to
debug a while ago:
https://github.com/systemd/systemd/commit/071e0b8b3a698e73bcaecba09ffccab5553d2365#diff-fac070586a4b795cf0eb037f4fa21b30

I think this should be merged into 42.2.
Based on this comment, the names can't always be unique and it does not seem to
be a big problem:
