http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1020030 Bug ID: 1020030 Summary: NMI watchdog: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#0 stuck for 23s! Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.2 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel Assignee: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: cshorler@googlemail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 710122 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=710122&action=edit Kernel log With Leap 42.2 I have the root partition in btrfs for the first time, and I encounter a soft lockup (log attached). It looks like this could be a duplicate of #999550, I am not 100% sure though - I do not see any correlation to laptop sleep / resume. In fact this typically occurs when I'm doing day to day compilation, at random - roughly once a week. I guess I need to bisect to find the issue, but I don't have a known good point to start from... so I'm not sure where to start. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
