--- Comment #2 from Larry Finger <Larry.Finger@xxxxxxxxxxxx> ---
When you post a bug report, please pay attention to the NEEDINFO requests,
otherwise, you run the risk of having the bug closed for lack of response.

In answer to my question that you ignored, I am assuming the problem was with a
host system.

USB passthru is a security hole. See for details.

The openSUSE implementation has a popup program that should have shown you what
was wrong; however, the code that caused it to run had been lost.

I changed the logic of that whole process. Now, the necessary commands will be
part of /etc/udev/rules.d/60-vboxdrv.rules. The first time the new code is run,
a screen will popup stating that USB passthru is insecure, referencing bnc
#664520, and telling the user what to do to disable passthru. They are also
warned that the warning will not be repeated.

This revised code has been submitted to Leap 42.2 updates as part of a version
bump to 5.1.12. It is now being prepared for Factory and Tumbleweed.
