http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1018669 Bug ID: 1018669 Summary: PolKit crashes when not filling a password Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.1 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE 42.1 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Other Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: hotmusicfan@mail.bg QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 708953 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=708953&action=edit Backtrace Hello! I have a problem in the below described scenario but I was able to write about it just now. Suddenly my Wi-Fi connection was lost and I was prompted to enter my password for my home Wi-Fi network. I didn't do that, instead I clicked "Cancel" and just turned off and turned on the wi-fi from the network manager and the connection was reestablished - just because my password is saved. But after a few minutes I get a message that says "Kdeinit5 crashed unexpectedly" and some of the tray icons disappeared. I wrote this case in a bug about Kdeinit5 here: https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=964185#c3 uploaded my backtrace and I was told that the bug is in Polkit. Today I tested this case on Leap 42.2 and the result is the same, excepting that I don't get any crash messages. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
