Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.2 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel Assignee: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: s.priebe@profihost.ag QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Hello, while testing the latest opensuse kernel Branch openSUSE-42.2 commit 4c1906190417081fa97dc55ecc0f6589a8698b24. I'm observing critical errors from the InnoDB engine in MariaDB or MySQL 5.6: 2016-09-26 14:13:45 139589243988736 [ERROR] InnoDB: Tried to read 16384 bytes at offset 25183518720. Was only able to read 0. InnoDB: Fatal error: cannot read from file. OS error number 17. I do NOT get this with vanilla Kernel 4.6, 4.7 or 4.8. Haven't tested 4.5 and below. This makes me think this is a kernel bug. I can reproduce this problem pretty easily by executing a specific query. btrfs mount options: rw,noatime,nodiratime,compress-force=zlib,ssd,space_cache,skip_balance,subvolid=636,subvol=/mariadb Greets, Stefan -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
