Which kernel are you testing? Also, which output are you testing? The onboard
analog one (e.g. headphone) or over HDMI?
The stuttering with AMD chip may come due to the cache coherency issue. Try to
pass snoop=off option to snd-hda-intel module, e.g. set the line below in
/etc/modprobe.d/50-hda.conf:
options snd-hda-intel snoop=off
and reboot the system and retest.
Last but not least, give more detailed hw information, e.g. the output of
alsa-info.sh script. Run it with --no-upload option and attach (don't paste)
the output file to Bugzilla.
