Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed
Version: Current
Hardware: Other
OS: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal

Since at least ten years KMail, regardless of version, suffers under a bug:

Incoming or outgoing emails, which are encrypted for sending, are saved
encrypted, which is nonsense. Nobody encrypts Emails to make them unreadable on
the harddisk. For such a purpose there is LUKS and whatever.

Many users asked for correction of this bug, see here:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=28261

Really, it is annoying and preventing users from encrypting their email.

Regards,

Alexander
