--- Comment #4 from Axel Köllhofer <AxelKoellhofer@xxxxxx> ---
Update:

Since the last post systemd got several updates on 13.1/42.1 and to my
surprise:

# systemctl disable sshd ; systemctl enable sshd
rm '/etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/sshd.service'
ln -s '/usr/lib/systemd/system/sshd.service'
'/etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/sshd.service'

cat /etc/SuSE-release
openSUSE 13.1 (i586)
VERSION = 13.1
CODENAME = Bottle

although the system was booted with "quiet" parameter.

grep -o quiet /proc/cmdline
quiet

# rpm -q systemd
systemd-210-46.1.i586

On 42.1 however, still no output when boot parameter "quiet" is used.

grep -o quiet /proc/cmdline
quiet

systemctl disable sshd ; systemctl enable sshd

no output

cat /etc/os-release

NAME="openSUSE Leap"
VERSION="42.1"
VERSION_ID="42.1"
PRETTY_NAME="openSUSE Leap 42.1 (x86_64)"
ID=opensuse
ANSI_COLOR="0;32"
CPE_NAME="cpe:/o:opensuse:opensuse:42.1"
BUG_REPORT_URL="https://bugs.opensuse.org";
HOME_URL="https://opensuse.org/";
ID_LIKE="suse"

with

rpm -q systemd
systemd-210-89.1.x86_64

I had a look at the changelogs but didn't find an indication which change on
13.1 might be the one to change the behaviour back to "ye olden days".

Greetings,

AK
