--- Comment #8 from Jens-U. Mozdzen <jmozdzen@xxxxxx> ---
Hi Jean-Daniel,

(In reply to Jean-Daniel Dodin from comment #7)
Finally I can boot Leap using the following:
[...]

I'm a bit surprised to see you have that much difficulties: My experience is
much less troublesome:

- add 32bit EFI grub to Leap boot stick

- boot from stick, manually load installer via grub commands (similar to what
you described)

- upon reboot (again from stick), manually load installed environment via grub
commands

- install grub2-i386-efi-2.02~beta2-55.1.i586.rpm, ignoring dependencies

- re-run grub2 install specifying 32bit target ("grub2-install
--target=i386-efi --recheck")

- done

grub2-install will add the 32bit loader to the EFI environment.

I'm in the process of preparing an article on this - but as it's focus is on
machine-specific difficulties (mixed-mode EFI is just one of these), it may
take some more days until I'm ready to publish...
