http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=965530 Bug ID: 965530 Summary: FTP: wrong non-ASCII file names Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.1 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE Applications Assignee: opensuse-kde-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: dmitry.ashkadov@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Hello! When I create file with non-ASCII name in dolphin connected to a remote pure-ftpd server, the file has wrong name. Support of RFC 2640 is enabled in Pure-ftpd. Dolphin transfers name in UTF-8 but pure-ftpd treats it in another encoding. The problem is that dolphin does not send FEAT command and doesn't check that server supports UTF-8, consequently, Dolphin doesn't enable UTF-8 by sending command OPTS UTF8 ON on a server side.
