/etc/pam.d/xdm has pam_mount included ("session optional pam_mount.so"), unchanged from 12.1.
How did this line get into /etc/pam.d/xdm? When I install pam_mount on a current tumbleweed, I don't see any entry for pam_mount.so in any of the services. [..]
Steps to Reproduce: 1. set up system to use pam_mount during xdm login
How did you do this? Is there any way to do this using YaST2? I'm not aware of any. (In reply to Jens-U. Mozdzen from comment #1)
hm, on my current test machine, it turns out that the configuration is incomplete: /etc/pam.d/xdm did not contain an "auth entry" for pam_mount. As I believe this to be required, I cannot tell why this works with 12.1.
Adding the "auth optional pam_mount.so" line makes it work:
[..] So a line for 'session' and one for 'auth' should be added to /etc/pam.d/xdm - like 'man 8 pam_mount' describes. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
