Still I've tested it on what is at hands right now. Results: 1. openSUSE 13.1 i586, KDE 4.14, External USB DVD drive with tray that can be only opened automatically and requires manual close: the bug doesn't happen. I suspect because tray is always closed manually. 2. openSUSE 13.2 i586, MATE 1.8.1, Internal SATA DVD drive: After executing "Steps to Reproduce" eject -T fails with "eject: CD-ROM eject command failed: device or resource busy".
