1) I disabled IPV6 on this system, and the updates now work correctly.
2) IPV6 is enabled on all of my other systems yet the updates work on them.
3) This is the only system using the wicked network manager. Could it reverse the IPV4 / IPV6 priorities?
Is this still reproducible with wicked 0.6.18 ? If so could you please provide logs (here is described how to do it properly: https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Bugreport_wicked).
Thanks.

Actually since this is happening from the installation media, a different approach should be taken to collect logs. Please refer to the https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Linuxrc for details. Please specify linuxrc.debug=2 boot command line parameter (linuxrc.log could be used to redirect output to a specified file, but it's not mandatory) and provide /var/log/wicked* files. that network. Please also try to boot the installation media with the following parameter: ifcfg=*=dhcp6,DHCLIENT6_MODE=managed and test if that helps with the problem. Since there has been no response for quite a long time we mark as NORESPONSE. Please re-open when relevant information becomes available. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
