http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=937765 http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=937765#c1 --- Comment #1 from Freek de Kruijf <freek@opensuse.org> --- After starting the Wi-Fi interface I wrote I could enter the system both via the IP address of the Ethernet as well as the WiFi. Inspection on my desktop of the ARP table however shows that both IP addresses have the same MAC address associated, so most likely the connection to the IP address of the Wi-Fi goes through the Ethernet interface. So for some strange reason the answer to the ARP request for the IP address of the Wi-Fi interface is answered via the Ethernet interface. Maybe I should add that both interfaces are connected to the same Ethernet broadcast domain. Earlier versions of the Raspberry Pi had no problem with that. What I want to get is a system that communicates via the Ethernet interface when a cable is connected and via the Wi-Fi interface otherwise. I experienced using STARTMODE='ifplugd' and IFPLUGD_PRIORITY=... but that did not help, so now I use STARTMODE='auto' for both interfaces. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
