This causes the non-installation of several base patterns that leave many default applications (KDE and otherwise) off of the fresh system. Normal System patterns not installed: patterns-openSUSE-games patterns-openSUSE-imaging patterns-openSUSE-multimedia patterns-openSUSE-non_oss patterns-openSUSE-office KDE Patterns not installed: patterns-openSUSE-kde patterns-openSUSE-kde4_basis patterns-openSUSE-kde4_internet patterns-openSUSE-kde4_utilities With the new organization of KF5/Plasma 5/KDE Apps, that there needs to be a whole new setup for the installation.
