--- Comment #9 from Uwe Geuder ---
Reopening.
I removed my work-around and installed patch openSUSE-2014-797, which brought
my kbd to version 2.0.2-2.6.1.
Unfortunately the originally reported problem is not solved.
I can see the symbolic links created by the updated package:
$ ls -l /usr/share/kbd/keymaps/i386/qwerty/fi*.map
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 6 Dec 23 23:15
/usr/share/kbd/keymaps/i386/qwerty/fi-latin1.map -> fi.map
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 6 Dec 23 23:15
/usr/share/kbd/keymaps/i386/qwerty/fi-latin9.map -> fi.map
However, these links are incorrect. All my map files are compressed. Target
fi.map does not exist.
The old work-around manually creating a link fi-latin1.map.gz -> fi.map.gz
helps again.
