"Because of the kind of failure I am having, I can't capture screens or logs
least I don't know how to get it done)."

I would love to do this. But since the system can't connect, I can't ftp the
suckers anywhere. NOTE: This happened during initial install. And it appears,
from all the other bug reports that I've read, to be a common problem -- I
would bet that what I have reported is actually a duplicate.

I have attempted an upgrade install, to recover. Same problem. Perhaps I need
to run a "LIVE" down level Linux that works to find and get you the logs. So
let's make this a one time deal: Tell me everything you want so I can do it

[Yes, I am quite frustrated with this -- I originally started out to build a
Suse Linux F/W DHCP/DNS appliance at 12.3. But DHCP/DNS will not sync because
of a bug there, now 13.1 can't deal with two NIC cards....]
