The update was done via 'zypper up' and unfortunately I have deleted the
logfile since then (my mistake).
Based on your 'Comment 1' this is actually only partly a bug in the sense that
the system did hang after reboot (rather than allow to login and correct the
error) and only a boot into shell mode did allow to correct the problem. If
anybody wants to investigate this system hanging, please reopen the bugreport.
Implementing "Ignore any mounts that fail during booting rather than hanging
the system and log appropriate message so that issue can be corrected once the
system is up (unless mount point is critical for running the system, as /, /usr
/var, /etc" maybe a possible feature request.
BTW: Do you have a reference on how to get /dev/disk/by-id/XXX disk names so
that I can replace my /dev/sdX and avoid the problem with the next update.
