In consequence, the mount fails. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: I used a OS 12.3+Tumbleweed NFS server. Mount command: mount -v -t nfs -o sec=krb5,nfsvers=4,nosuid,nodev,hard,intr nfs-client.example.com:/exportdir /mountdir Actual Results: The machine credentials file (/tmp/krb5ccmachine_EXAMPLE.COM) is correctly written, but the mount fails due to rpc.gssd crashing: mount.nfs: timeout set for Sun Nov 10 16:22:24 2013 mount.nfs: trying text-based options 'sec=krb5,nfsvers=4,hard,intr,addr=fdc0::4:230:5ff:fe50:c0fc,clientaddr=fdc0::4:be05:43ff:fe07:a095' mount.nfs: mount(2): Input/output error mount.nfs: mount system call failed Expected Results: The NFS mount should succeed. Trying to mount without kerberos authentication (i.e. using "sec=sys" instead of "sec=krb5" doesn't help. A same mount on an OS 12.3+Tumbleweed system using either "sec=sys" or "sec=krb5" works correctly. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
