Executing /sbin/chkconfig irq_balancer on The unit files have no [Install] section. They are not meant to be enabled using systemctl. Possible reasons for having this kind of units are: 1) A unit may be statically enabled by being symlinked from another unit's .wants/ or .requires/ directory. 2) A unit's purpose may be to act as a helper for some other unit which has a requirement dependency on it. 3) A unit may be started when needed via activation (socket, path, timer, D-Bus, udev, scripted systemctl call, ...). linux-k1fq:~ # less /usr/lib/systemd/system/irqbalance.service linux-k1fq:~ # systemctl start irq_balancer linux-k1fq:~ # systemctl status irq_balancer irq_balancer.service - LSB: irqbalance daemon providing irq balancing on MP-machines Loaded: loaded (/etc/init.d/irq_balancer) Active: active (running) since Mon 2013-11-04 11:40:09 CST; 2s ago Process: 6865 ExecStart=/etc/init.d/irq_balancer start (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS) CGroup: /system.slice/irq_balancer.service └─6875 /usr/sbin/irqbalance Nov 04 11:40:09 linux-k1fq.site irq_balancer[6865]: Starting irqbalance ..done Nov 04 11:40:09 linux-k1fq.site systemd[1]: Started LSB: irqbalance daemon providing irq balancing on MP-machines. linux-k1fq:~ # -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
