https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=835444 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=835444#c0 Summary: Amarok crashes when switching tracks if using Gstream Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.3 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: pcgomes@ig.com.br QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=553105) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=553105) Output from KCrash diagnosis tool. User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:23.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/23.0 Amarok crashes most of times when I one track finishes, and it goes to the next one. The error also happens sometimes when I try to play a first track. But this error happens only if the Phonon back-end is GStreamer. If the back-end is VLC, the program works normally. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Amarok and play any music from list 2. If crash is not immediate, pass for the next track 3. At most after 3 passes, the crash occurs Actual Results: The program crashes at most on the 4th track, and starts the KCrash helper. Unfortunately the Crash utility is not working correct either, because whenever I click to "Install Debugging Packages", it does not install anything, and just re-read the dump file. Expected Results: Amarok should play the MP3 files on the playlist smoothly. I may provide a remote shell, so the developer can see the bug. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
