Summary: Connect with ssh using IPv6 initially fails
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE 12.3
Version: Final
Platform: Other
OS/Version: openSUSE 12.3
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Network

I have a desktop with openSUSE 12.3 and a Raspberry Pi with the image
recommended on the wiki.
I give the command "ssh user@rpi6" where rpi6 is defined in /etc/hosts as a
global IPv6 address. The Raspberry Pi uses the traditional ifup network
configuration with 3 fixed IPv6 addresses. Configuration on the RPi is done via
YaST. Both systems are in the same home network.
Initially I get the error message:
ssh: connect to host rpi6 port 22: Protocol error
After this I give the command "ping6 rpi6", which gives the expected output.
After this I give the ssh command again and now the connection succeeds.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:

Expected Results:
Immediate connection

Have to wait a while before the problem occurs again. Will try to make a
package dump using wireshark.
