Thank you for explaining this. Maybe the description of the kernel packages
could be changed to make this more clear, e.g., short changing description from
"The ... Kernel - base modules" into "The ... Kernel - only with base modules".

OK, in this case and after several additional tests, I should change the topic
into: USB ports of HP advanced docking station (NZ222A) don't work correct with
kernel-desktop-3.4.33-2.24, but with kernel-default-3.4.33-2.24.


With kernel-desktop
- USB mouse either jumps or isn't recognized (tested with Xorg only)
- keyboard looses 1 of 2 characters while typing texts or even isn't recognized
(text terminal and Xorg)
- printer isn't recognized
- USB drives aren't recognized or are very, very slow (some KB/s while reading)

Workaround: kernel-default-3.4.33-2.24 or 3.8.3-1.
