THe splash screen is displayed giving the appearance the "machine" is hung. To reproduce build the suse-vm-guest example provided with kiwi then run qemu-kvm PATH_TO_IMAGE.raw Booting with console=ttyS0 and then rebooting with the log set to debug one can obtain the following error: [drm:cirrus_vram_init] *ERROR* can't reserve VRAM cirrus 0000:00:02.0: Fatal error during GPU init: -6 Failed to apply ACL on /dev/dri/card0: No such file or directory This analysis was done by Frederic.
